Bayern president makes astonishing assert
Manchester City are said to be outraged at Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness for some recent comments he made.
Speaking at a conference in Munich, Hoeness took a dig at Manchester City’s owner, Sheikh Mansour.
According to Hoeness, who has a relationship with Pep Guardiola from his time in Germany, City pay for transfers by putting up oil prices.
In his seminar he stated that Pep told him when he wants to sign a EUR1 00 m player he goes to Mansour who grants his wish and then sets up oil prices to recoup his loses 😛 TAGEND
“My friend Pep told me what happens when he signs a player costing EUR1 00 million.
“He sets some videos together and goes to see the sheikh.
“There is an opulent feast put one across, during which he teaches the video to him and the money is transferred.
“The next day, the sheikh creates the price of petroleum to recoup the money.”As quoted by the Mirror.
This is obviously quite a shocking statement for a number of reasons but it is worth noting the most pep has spent on a player at City is around EUR7 1m for Ryad Mahrez , not EUR1 00 m.
Man City demand an apology
The Mirror are reporting that the matter has now been handed to City’s legal time.
City will want an apology from Hoeness and are also concerned that there is a racist component involved in the Bayern president’s comments.
A high up source inside City had this to say 😛 TAGEND
“It was the remark of a smug, arrogant egotist.
“We are also concerned that there may be a racist element to what Hoeness has claimed.” As quoted by the Mirror.
